WHO WE ARE
Having a high view of God, we love Him above all, and purpose to fearfully and eagerly Worship Him, Grow in His likeness, Embrace His adopted children and Build His church.
Our Vision
Our Distinctives
-
1. Our worship is God-centered, not man-centered. (Jn 4:23-24)
We purpose to honor God with doctrinally sound psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. (Eph 5:19; Col 3:16-17)
We worship Him in all things through prayer, singing and acts of service. (1 Cor 10:31; 1 Pet 4:11; Rom 12:1)
2. We worship by teaching and practicing the whole counsel of God. (Acts 20:20,27)
We hold to God’s sovereignty and the doctrines of grace. (Eph 1:4-11, 2:1-10)
We preach expositionally from a literal, grammatical, and historical hermeneutic. (II Tim 2:15, 3:16-17; 2 Pet 1:19-21; 3:2,16; 2 Tim 4:3-4)
-
3. We pursue Bible-centered discipleship that leads to progressive sanctification. (II Cor 3:18, Col 1:28)
We commit to discipling men, women and children. (Matt 28:19)
We view the family as the biblical model of life-on-life training. (Deut 6:6-7, 11:19; Psa 78:5-6; Prov 22:6)
We train parents to disciple their children. (Eph. 6:1-4; Prov 1:8-9)
We hold to the sufficiency of Scripture employed by faithful saints as God's means for transformation. (II Pet 1:3, 1 Thess 5:14, Col 2:8)
We prioritize biblical masculinity and femininity. (Gen 1:26-27; Mar 10:6, Titus 2)
4. We equip members to live for Christ, prioritizing opportunities to consider and serve one another. (Eph 4:11-13)
We are devoted to living out true koinonia through our sharing, communion, and common bond in Christ. (Acts 2:42; 1 Jn 1:3)
We steward relationships as a gift from God for His glory. (1 Jn 3:11, 4:21; Phil 2:3)
We are dedicated to biblical peacemaking principles and pursuing a culture of peace. (Rom 12:18)
-
5. We proclaim the Gospel to share Christ’s love with others. (Mar 16:15)
We are intentional with our outreach and service opportunities. (Col 4:5)
We disciple and equip every member to share the Gospel courageously. (Matt 5:14; Rom 1:16)
6. We genuinely accept new believers into a community that serves and cares for them. (Rom 15:7; Eph 2:13-14; Lk 10:33-34)
-
7. We develop, send and support equipped church planters and missionaries (2 Tim 2:2) to reach the world for Christ. (Acts 1:8; Matt 28:19)
